{"id":11383,"date":"2025-07-15T23:35:48","date_gmt":"2025-07-15T23:35:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/testv67.demowebsitelinks.com\/DockDoorV3\/?post_type=product&#038;p=11383"},"modified":"2025-07-16T00:09:07","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T00:09:07","slug":"tpr-unilock-automatic-vehicle-restraint","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/testv67.demowebsitelinks.com\/DockDoorV3\/product\/tpr-unilock-automatic-vehicle-restraint\/","title":{"rendered":"TPR UniLock\u00ae Automatic Vehicle Restraint"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Loading Dock Truck Restraint<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The TPR UniLock\u00ae is the only trailer-positioned vehicle restraint that can automatically remove &#8220;RIG Wedge&#8221; pressure. \u00a0RIG Wedge\u00a0is caused when the trailer is pushed forward during loading\/unloading and the trailer&#8217;s Rear Impact Guard (RIG) applies so much pressure to the restraint&#8217;s hook that the truck driver must reverse the trailer in order to release the restraint. \u00a0The UniLock has an advanced cam design that first rotates the hook away from the RIG to remove the pressure and then rotates down to a stored position.<\/p>\n<p>The UniLock vehicle restraint also has an internal safety mechanism that locks the restraint&#8217;s hook in place when pressure is applied, maintaining a secure engagement. \u00a0This makes it\u00a0universally effective on any obstructed Rear Impact Guard (RIG), including intermodal trailers with cover plates that prevent the restraint&#8217;s hook from latching on top of the RIG.<\/p>\n<p>The UniLock\u00a0is designed to withstand a pulling force in excess of 32,000 lbs and has a service range of 4\u201d to 10\u201d horizontally from the face of the dock bumpers and 9\u201d to 30\u201d vertically above the drive approach. The integral motor, gear, and brake assembly are specifically designed for the UniLock.
